Our Teachers

We pride ourselves in having a small dedicated team of fully qualified, experienced swimming teachers who have a passion for the water and being safe in and around it.  Our teachers hold a minimum of a level 2 teaching qualification, are all insured and hold a lifesaving or water rescue certificate which includes a first aid module.

We have regular update sessions to ensure that we are following the latest protocols when it comes to both swimming and safety. Continual Professional Development is of utmost importance to us here at Swimfusion.

Camilla Golledge - Founder and Teacher

I am Camilla and I have two young children. Having taught swimming for 11 years in Kent, I decided to set up Swim Fusion in 2011 the same time that I was expecting my first child. I knew that I wanted to provide small classes for children to reach their full potential, and as there is already a baby and pre school Swim school at Risebridge, it seemed that it was the natural progression to set up some sessions for children aged 4+. Since starting the swim school, I have also trained as a first aid and Lifesaving instructor and gone on to have my second child. Life is busy but I have a great team to support me

I started my swim teaching journey by becoming a lifeguard. I am very lucky to have a pool at home and decided I needed to be able to fish my teenage children out of the pool if necessary! Having watched children swimming I realised that I could make a difference teaching them, and embarked on the STA courses to enable me to fulfil a new career. I working in marketing before I had children, and am definitely a people person! I love working with children, especially ones who tell me my blue eyeshadow makes me look like a mermaid.
