My Teachers

I pride myself in having a small dedicated team of fully qualified, experienced swimming teachers who have a passion for the water and being safe in and around it.  The teachers hold a minimum of a level 2 teaching qualification, are all insured and hold a lifesaving or water rescue certificate which includes a first aid module.

 

I have taken many Continual Professional Development courses as continuing to learn is of utmost importance to us here at Swimfusion.

Hi, I'm Camilla, I have two young children, a fabulous husband, the most supportive parents and a passion for being in, on or around the water. We have recently added a puppy to our family and he also loves the water and can be found out paddle boarding with us!

 

Having taught swimming for many years, I decided to set up Swim Fusion in 2011, the same time that I was expecting my first child. I knew that I wanted to provide small classes for children to reach their full potential. 

 

I have undertaken a huge amount of extra training in the last few years to be able to offer so much more, life is busy and I have lots of exciting things coming soon........

I am a Mum of 2 mermaids ;-) and love the water!

After completing a Sports Degree and progressing into Personal Training & Leisure Management, I then spent 10 years working as an Apprenticeship Assessor in Warwickshire / Kent and was an Internal Verifier for the South East. I have been a Swimming Teacher since 1995 and in 2018 qualified as a Mermaid Instructor.

I also work as a First Aid Trainer and RLSS Lifeguard Trainer. 

I have worked with all ages and abilities of swimmers and love to be able to help people learn new swimming and lifesaving skills and see others develop a love of the water too

Rachel Kelly

Swimming Teacher

 

Rachel has worked with children for over 15 years, through a number of settings, and has newly qualified as a Level 2 STA Swim Teacher.

Her love for water, including sailing, diving and swimming has steered her to a path in swim teaching. Along with her 3 kids, who all have a love for the water, she has spent many years in a swim teaching environment.
