On my last morning, I headed to the ocean to swim, to body surf and to feel the power of the sea.
With the sun beating down and friends surrounding me, I saw a dolphin, not even 100 metres from the shore, a sign that I relished, of new beginnings, of new friendships and following your dreams.
There were many things that took me to Jamaica, a love of travelling, wanting to assist an amazing charity, a need to hep these children learn to swim, but also a little bit of selfishness. A bit of "me time" to reflect on life, to make some personal and professional decisions (all good) and remember how lucky I am.
Goodbye Jamaica, you have given me a wonderful insight of another country with a fascinating, yet very contradictory culture, a new passion for teaching swimming and a very nice bottle of rum!!!!!!
