About

I’m Camilla — Water has always been my happy place. Whether I’m swimming, paddle boarding or simply spending time by the shore, it’s where I feel most at home. Even my dog, Rusty, has joined the adventure and can often be spotted proudly balancing on the paddle board with me.

My journey as a swimming teacher began many years ago, but it wasn’t until 2011 — while expecting my first child — that I founded Swim Fusion Swim School.

My vision was simple: to create small, nurturing classes where every child could not only learn to swim, but also grow in confidence and reach their full potential. For 12 incredible years, that vision became a thriving community of swimmers, families and shared milestones.

As my children grew, my business grew alongside them and so did my connections with the STA. In 2024, I felt it was time to explore new opportunities within the leisure industry and made the heartfelt decision to close the swim school.

Over the past two years, I’ve worked hard and invested heavily in further training and development as an aquatic specialist. I’ve expanded my skills, strengthened my confidence and am now able to offer even more than I could through the swim school alone.

Life is busy, full of change and full of possibility — and I’m excited for what comes next. New projects, new ideas and new ways to share my love of the water are already on the horizon.

Stay tuned. The next chapter is just beginning.

Did you know I was awarded the Ross Eagle Award in 2025. This award is to recognise an individual who has gone above and beyond for swimming during their career. Someone that has made a significant difference and been determined to make a real difference in grassroots swimming.
